  Shunned or actually...not treated much differently?!

  so today on my way to work, i passed a faithful jw sister who i have met about 6 times and spoken to and was friends with a sister she spends a lot of time with, i looked at her and smiled and she looked through me.

  i wondered if she knew to shun me.

  i'm dating someone when i have no photographic evidence that i am free to remarry ;) let's ignore all forms of abuse and unfaithfulness...anyway!.

  young single attractive women are nothing but trouble in the congregation. they obviously have little worth to the society---can never be a MS or an elder. best they can be is another lazy hard up pioneer.

  the main problem though---is they will always be a threat-----tempting all the young single brothers---and the older married ones. therefore a serious threat to all the married matriarchs that are the real power behind the elders.

  you might just be acceptable of youre a plain mousy little frump though---someone the others can look over rather than through.

  Question about the fade

  i know there are a lot of threads on here about fading and i've read a lot of them, but i have a question that i haven't found the answer to yet.. what would happen if you move to a new congregation (or at least tell your old congregation that you are moving and to have your records moved), and you don't go to any meetings?

  i see lots of the fading strategies say to go to some meetings and show your face until your name is announced.

  what exactly happens if you don't go to meetings in the new congregation?.

  i was raised in it---- from about 10 years old-----of course it was the only true religion--it just was--coz we were in it. then--one day--i stopped to think.

  it has been a long looong time since i posted on here, but never ceased reading all the posts and keeping up on the changes that have been going on!

  but it just seems that now i have a need to get something off my chest, and this is the one place that will most definitely understand the topic at hand.

  i have been disfellowshipped for about 8yrs now, and have dealt with the 'consequences' of that decision: all my so-called friends in the org left and i was also abandoned by my own family.

  Who oversees the money for the WT?

  when the wt sells property for a billion dollars profit, who decides what that money is going to be used for?.

  when all the money comes in from all the kingdom halls bank accounts worldwide, did all that money go into one big account and who has authority to spend it and cut some checks to whoever?

  when all the monthly donations come in to the watchtower headquarters, who decides distribution, and to who?
